THE JOURNEY BEGINS...
From Margins to Masterpieces: The Christopher Miranda Story
Remember that kid who couldn't stop drawing? The one turning every blank space into a canvas and sketching through math class? That was me – still is, actually. Born in Chicago with a pencil practically glued to my hand, I've been translating life into lines since I was 10. That passion led to one of my proudest moments: having my work displayed at the Chicago Art Museum at age 16. Talk about a "pinch me" moment that turned those childhood dreams into rocket fuel for something bigger.
Now, from my sun-drenched studio in Austin, Texas, I pour that same wide-eyed wonder into creating portraits that capture the moments that make us human. Whether it's the gentle laugh lines around your grandfather's eyes or that mischievous smirk your kid saves for special occasions, I build each piece layer by layer until it practically breathes. Through the dance of light and shadow, these black and white portraits tell stories that will last generations – because some moments deserve to be preserved in more than just pixels.
